3 Bad Diet Mistakes To Avoid At All Cost

diet-mistakes-to-avoid

Even though there is a lot statistic and articles available about the do and don;t of weight loss, the same diet mistakes are being repeated over and over again. We aren't referring to the little slipups in which you ate a slice of chocolate cheese cake that was not in your plan, but big mistake that will screw up your weight losplanIdentifying the mistakes, and knowing the mistake would allow you to open up your mind and reach your weight loss goal.

1. The All Or Nothing Attitude

All or nothing dieters will regularly pick out a complicated food plan that is nearly impossible for them to follow. Before starting their diet plan, they may search the kitchen for something that doesn't fit in the dieting plan and throw them out. They are planning to be the perfect dieter, and so they'll be at some point, 3 days, seven days or even a couple of weeks. Then, unavoidably, when something happened they can't maintain their diet, immediately the diet plan is ruined and the diet is over. They will visit the shop and buy all the food items they had thrown out before they started the diet plan and back to their old eating habits and hence gained back all the weight they had lost.

if you are this type of dieter you need to ask yourself a few difficult questions. Are you really DETERMINED to lose weight permanently, or just lose some pounds so that you can put on the weight again? The correct way to diet is to make small changes to what you eat so that you will have a slow but steady weight loss.

2. The Mind-Set of Sacrifice

The most commomistakes every dieter goes through is to view your dieting period as a time of sacrifice. You do not permit yourself to eat the meals that you enjoy during your dieting periodDuring your dieting period, you are at your healthiesweight but what happens after that? If you haven't learnt to devour 'bad foods' in moderation during your dieting period, you will probably lose control after you have achieveyour weight goal and eat to your hearts' contentAnd if this happens, all your hard work in losing all the weight will be wasted. Therefore, it is ok to enjoy the "bad foods" in moderation during your dieting planSo go grab that small piece of chocolate

3. Purpose Failure

Setting realistic goals is important in any weight loss plan. Your goal shall be clear and realistic when you set it. A realistic goal would be to lose two pounds per week in the first five weeks, followed by one pound per week after that. Remember that some weeks you will most probably lose more pounds but some weeks less. You may also gain few pounds in some weeks. Thus, don’t feel discouraged and continuously track your progreson a graph and steadily progress until you achieve your weight loss goal!

Even if you have been making the mistakes mentioned above DON’T WORRY. The most crucial point in weight loss plan is identify those mistakes and learnt from it and then move on. Learn from the failures as well as your success. Do not use the failures as an excuse for giving up. Always remember that if you want to achieve your goal permanently is to MAKE A COMMITMENT to become a HEALTHIER PERSON. All the best and DO NOT GIVE UP !
